Circle Lenses

Greetings to all!  Ever wonder how to get big anime eyes for your cosplays, or just for your own personal enjoyment?  Why not try to look like a doll with the signature large eyes?  Well, there is a great item that will enlarge your eyes without makeup on!  Maybe you have heard about circle lenses.  They are a great necessity to cosplaying and being a Lolita.
Daily Wear

The fashion fad began in Japan.  The circle lenses have a black ring around the edges that cover more than the iris unlike regular contacts.  This gives a look of a bigger iris to create larger eyes.  The black rings increase the diameter and there are many options available on the size of the diameter.

I use them for these reasons as well as when I want to.  The great thing about them is that they can be prescribed.  Also, they last an entire year!  The price is quite affordable.  There are many websites but I like PinkyParadise.com the best.  It is a Korean based company, and it is very trustworthy in my opinion.  They sell other beauty products as well.  With a variety of colors, designs, and diameters, circle lenses take the spotlight in what it takes to look the part of your character.  You may be wondering if there is a catch, but overall I would say no.  While I personally feel this way, some will disagree.

If you look more into health issues with wearing circle lenses, one will discover that there are many articles concerned with buying contacts online.  Every eye is different, but these contacts are sold as one size fits all.  Some people may have steeper curves of the cornea, or eyes that are too small for the contacts.  This may lead to a long-term damage of the eye that will affect the eyesight.  While I did this research before I ordered a pair, I still wanted them.  Other people were wearing them, and that is all I need to assure myself even if that does not seem credible.

Personally, circle lenses are nothing to fear.  I have bad vision, so maybe it cannot get worse.  Actually, my vision has gotten better this year.  I do not tell my eye doctor about me buying circle lenses but he has not made a negative comment about the health of my eyes.  While the doctors are concerned about the contacts not fitting, I think they fit me just fine.  There is not any presence of irritation when I wear circle lenses as long as I follow the rules to keep them clean.

What rules?  Well, first thing first, PLEASE NEVER WEAR MORE THAN EIGHT HOURS.  Circle lenses have a lack of water content compared to most contacts and will dry out your eyes.  Make sure you blink a lot and never go past eight hours.  I admit that I regularly break this rule and I can feel my eyes become dry and tired.  Since they last a whole year, do not be cheap on contact solution and use it on your circle lenses every time you wear them.  I do not wear it everyday, but I do change the solution every few days.

Overall, there are bad things and good things with circle lenses just like everything in the universe.  I like to be positive so I wear them while keeping in mind the risks to make myself take proper care of them.  They are great to me and an amazing addition to making your cosplay or Lolita coordinate stand out.  If you have contacts already, it is an easy addition to take care of since you are hopefully in the habit of taking care of regular contacts!
